This is where the theatre of life finally gets its stage.
Cix Theatre brings a theatre hall, foyer and workspaces into the mix. Because culture isn't a guest here, it's a resident, and you live right in the thick of it. Next door, Cix City and Depot keep the energy going: a food hall, bars and restaurants, shops, a supermarket, a gym, studios, office space, creative businesses. Everything you need, right on your doorstep.
The homes all have a character of their own, yet together still speak the same urban language. Slim or more robust. Warm earth tones against light, sculptural lines. Taller volumes and lower ones all knitted together into one contemporary city collage. Since any really good show needs more than just a single voice, it needs many. Cix Theatre counts 89 homes in a range of sizes and layouts, from 45 to 130 m², spanning accessible and affordable to more exclusive. The choice is yours. Whichever home you pick, the architecture is always looking for that sweet spot between privacy and connection. The homes are arranged around a shared inner garden on the third floor. High enough to catch plenty of sun and landscaped like a rolling heathland with wooden benches and private terraces.
Architecture that sets the scene
Designed by renowned architecture firms VenhoevenCS and Marc Koehler Architects, Cix Theatre is made up of several independent buildings that together form a striking, geometric city block. Low to high, intimate to bold, ranging from four to twelve storeys. A tonal palette of ceramic and concrete ties the façades together without ever falling flat. Subtle shifts in texture and tone give each building its own personality. At the heart of the block, the cultural house glows in the evening like a lantern of life. With a theatre hall, hospitality, workspaces and a foyer, it keeps the neighbourhood square alive well after sundown.
Cix Theatre, an array of home types
Coulisses
18 apartments, roughly 45 to 60 m²
Compact, smart and comfortable. Just as the coulisses hold everything a production needs to run smoothly, these apartments make the most of every square metre. A clear layout with one or two bedrooms makes Coulisses a great, complete home base. Many also come with their own balcony or terrace.
Circle
57 apartments, roughly 70 to 130 m²
On the Circle, everyday life gets room to breathe. Apartments range from comfortable to generous, with a variety of layouts and two to four bedrooms. Balconies and terraces open the homes up to the outside, sometimes on multiple sides or with an especially wide-open view.
Loges
6 homes, roughly 80 m², spread across two floors
A place of your own within the larger whole. In the Loges, openness and privacy sit comfortably together. You could, for instance, arrange the home so everyday life plays out on one floor, while the other offers a bit of quiet and privacy. All six homes come with their own balcony, an extension of life indoors. These charming townhouses also offer a great opportunity for future growth, ideal for young couples and families.
Parterre
8 homes, roughly 90 to 110 m², spread across three floors
Parterre combines the spacious character of a townhouse with the dynamism of city living. Living, working and sleeping each get their own level, creating a natural backand- forth between togetherness and solitude. Every home has its own outdoor space; some even have multiple balconies or a generous terrace.
